Nick and I traveled with the Sharing a New Song Chorus on their Twentieth Anniversary trip to Russia. I rehearsed with the chorus during the year and travelled as a participating member, singing tenor, a new experience for me. Nick came with us on special arrangement with SANS, his background in Russian politics helping to smooth the way to his inclusion.
Enjoyment of language is part of my fun in travelling. I created and used this Russian language introduction website as a handout center for sessions that Sue Thanas and I led for choristers interested in learning a bit about the language.
As we began learning songs for the Estonian Song Festival, I prepared a very simple site on the Estonian Language with emphasis on pronunciation and some basic phrases.
