Visiting Pavlovsk with Nadya and Misha

Wednesday, June 30, 2004

We wanted to spend a day with Pashkos away from the crowded tourist spots and have time for visiting in a pretty location we would all find fun and relaxing. Nadya took us on a drive out to the palace region of St. Petersburg and we visited Paul's palace (Pavlovsk) . Misha is an enthusiastic photographer and this page shows a fair sampling of Misha's wonderful photos.

First, some scenes in the park and on the approach to the palace. The garden is filled with bridges.

Back outside, we followed this path to our car, heading off for a great lunch in the local train station.

Ready for more Pavlovsk pictures? We split these
pictures of beautiful objects,
including shots of "animals in the palace," into a separate file, so you would not need to download all the Pavlovsk pictures at once.
