You don't want to miss this opportunity to see sophisticated techniques for controlling data entry, reporting, and security in a complex system.
Data Entry is simplified through use of a single form with multiple subformas.
The Reporting Facility presents a series of report templates, data selection criteria and sort criteria that dynamically customize the report request and report output. This technique will be presented in detail.
A security model is employed which requires user loging, restricts access by function and creates an audit trail of userID and date/time of record creation and update.
All data can be stored using JET or MS SQL Server.
{Note that we will be meeting the first Monday of every month for the remainder of the year.}
The NYC Access SIG is affiliated with the NYPC
User Group and the Professional Association of Database Developers (PADD).
Meetings are open to the public. An annual membership fee of $5 entitles
you to participate in the occasional product raffle and to receive monthly
meeeting notices.
