Mark's Very Abridged Biography

So who is Mark Edwards, you ask?

Born and raised in Manhattan, Mark became interested in computers at about the same time he became interested in girls, while he was in high school. After attending New York University, he embarked on a career writing applications software, primarily for the IBM PC. Mark decided to strike out on his own in 1991, forming his own consulting company, Computer Masters, Inc.

In 1994, Mark got involved again with the Internet, and has become fixated with Web Programming, Internet technologies, Java and using the net in general. This love has taken him far, including working in The Netherlands and, in 1999, riding his motorcycle from New York to San Francisco to attend the JavaOne Conference.

When he's not in front of the computer, Mark likes to play guitar, ride bicycles, and tour around the country on his motorcycle. Now that he's ridden across the US, he hopes next to ride through Europe, and then possibly even through Russia, Asia, and (if he ever manages to learn some more Spanish) South America.
