Michael Savino andMark Veau met in college and worked on various projects before forming Media House Films. In 1985 they won the Argus Award for their first film a short titled, "Attack of the Killer Refrigerator". This inspired them to produce their second film, "The Hook of Woodland Heights" another horror film. The two films are in national distribution. "Days Before Christmas" took the team into a new direction. Basing the story off an actual new event, "Days" brings the horror of reality and mixes it with on-screen horror which produced a Gold Award at the 1992 Houston International Film Festival. The film is distributed by Picture Start of Chicago.
