
Michael's education began at the Berklee School of Music in Boston and continued at Worcester State College where he specialized in television and film. Michael's passion for making films started while at Worcester State College where he created with Mark Veau "Attack of the Killer Refrigerator." "Attack" was made as a spoof for his fellow media students at WSC but turned into a favorite among campy horror fans. A distributor saw the film and released it with "The Hook of Woodland Heights" to videostores across the US and Canada. The film has gained many awards and reviews including positive comments from Variety among others. His third film, "Days Before Christmas" won a Gold Award at the Houston International Film Festival. After the first two films Michael began directing commercials for Greater Media Advertising in Worcester, Massachusetts. He has directed over 400 commercials in all formats from Beta SP and Super 8 to 16mm and 35mm film. He has one many awards for outstanding production and direction of local and regional commercials. His demo reel reflect's many styles from MTV and humor to dialog and working with many top sports stars. He's looking to take his vision beyond the regional grip and into the national arena.
