RETREAT 2005

Past Events

We had a very successful First Annual National Ambassadors Retreat in Boston, MA in November, 2003.  There were 30 people in attendance from around the US and Canada.  Fr. Tom Steinmetz of Our Lady of the Cedars Church in Manchester, NH led an interesting discussion on "What it means to be a Christian." 

The Ambassadors met most recently at the National Convention in Mystic, CT.  Twenty young Melkites were in attendance for a luncheon and discussion about Christian Marriage, led by Fr. Tom. 

Ambassadors Retreat 2005

We hope you can join us for the Melkite Ambassador's Second Annual National Retreat.  We are very excited to be holding our retreat this year at St. Jude Melkite Church in Miami, FL.  Both Fr. Tom Steinmetz and Fr. Gabriel Ghannoum, pastor of St. Jude, will be discussing "Baptism, Chrismation, and Eucharist".  We will also be planning events during the weekend for the attendees to get to know eachother better.  This will enable us to more effectively communicate throughout the year, and share ideas on how to grow the organization within each parish.

There will be a nominal fee collected at the retreat to cover the cost of breakfast and lunch.
