Colors

It's not easy to indicate colors using only black-and-white icons, but four possible solutions present themselves. Books of heraldry used to face the same problem, and they solved it by having standardized patterns of cross-hatching to indicate specific colors. In astrology, each planet had an associated color, some obvious (sun, moon, Mars), but most not. The third way would be to follow the same path that has given us colors like salmon, olive and eggshell. We could simply use the glyphs for common objects of that color. The fourth way would be to use the electromagnetic wavelength (in nanometers) of the color
