The weatherlady has a ton of symbols that she slides around her maps.
It's interesting to see that a lot of the traditional weather symbols are common typographic symbols (such as ** § ,, =), probably because the primitive computer-generated weather maps of long ago had limited graphic capabilities, so they had to stick to pre-programmed shapes.
