Morrill's Tavern
Eliakiam Morrill bought land from Jonathan Carver in 1782. He kept the tavern on Eliot Street for 17 years and was succeeded by several innkeepers.
The South Natick Fire of 1872 destroyed the tavern. Goin Bailey built Bailey's Hotel on the Eliot Street site, and his holdings included the schoolhouse building and yard that is now an office building at 49 Eliot Street.
