Dave has been playing professionally for over thirty years, and has played at literally thousands of weddings. He started out playing guitar at age 4, then started playing organ at 15. In high school he played drums, then trombone. He is the organist and youth choir director at his church for several years.

His first band was the Lamplighters, then he played in the popular wedding band Mystique for several years. After taking a year off, he joined Brass Attack in 1996. He and lead singer Ed Chouinard also do some duo work, and often provide both the music for the wedding ceremony, as well as the entertainment for the cocktail hour at several of the weddings where Brass Attack performs.
