Pat is the Westfield High School Instrumental Music Director. Recent accomplishments by bands at WHS include the Division One Western Massachusetts Gold Medal at the 2000 IAJE senior high school jazz festival and Best Musical Unit in the 2002 Holyoke Saint Patricks Day Parade.

His professional affiliations include the Music Educators National Conference, the International Association of Jazz Educators, the International Trumpet Guild and the Massachusetts Music Educators Association where he has served as Chairperson and as Manager of the 2001 Massachusetts All State Senior High School Jazz Ensemble.
