A Fiction: "Ur" Kleen
There are many more Kleen's -- some probably, but not certainly, related to the Texas Kleen's.
To organize their families, we have invented an "Ur" Kleen. His invented "family" consists of several "sons" that lived with their families at about the same time and in about the same place in Ostfriesland. A descendant of one of those "sons" is Jacob Harm? Hindrichs (Kleen), whose descendants are known to have come to Texas and are considered fully on this web site. Another web site considers all of the descendants.
No documented relationship has been established between many of these "sons" and their descendants, though many are suggested by their names and the data accompanying baptisms, marriages and deaths.
"Ur" Kleen's family may be fictional. But the data on his "sons", their families, and their descendants is real and in the original church records and the Ortssippenbücher (OSB) of Arle and Hage..
