PUPPETS & DEMONS

The following review appeared in the April 10-17 1997 issue of TIME OUT NEW YORK magazine:

Director McGuinn offers up a collection of ten shorts that run the gamut from wickedly inspired (Evolution, Terrence Baum: Intergalactic Assassin) to the decidedly lame (Agnes Keedan's Secret Plan, an ill-concieved suburban Hansel and Gretel). Even when amatuerish, McGuinn's films are full of imagination. Aliens, witches, and Twinkie-crazed puppets make Demons a heady mix. --AJ
