Puppets & Demons consists of the following ten films...
- Stella!, Gran'ma, and So Many People
These three shorts, ostensibly celebrations of Twinkies created for a contest sponsored by Hostess, are in fact wickedly funny satires of commercialism, sex, and family values. Stella! and Gran'ma feature the Twinkie-crazed puppet Vincent, who first appeared in Say Thankyou, Please.
- Evolution
A claymation comedy about the food chain. Won Best Animated Short award in the Arizona Film Festival when the filmaker was just 11 years old.
- Satan's Game
In this music video for the band Carrousel of Death, a lusty young hitchhiker thinks he's in for a good time when picked up by a blonde babe but soon discovers that he has just met the devil in flesh.
- Terrence Baum: Intergalactic Assassin
One night in the life of a sleazy "intergalactic parasite terminator" who must save innocent Doris from an oozing being from Planet Saliva. Winner of the People's Choice award at New York University's First Run Film Festival.
- Agnes Keedan's Secret Plan
A suburban Hansel and Gretel about a lonely witch. Winner of the Haig Manoongian production grant.
- When The Owling Has Come
The trials and temptations of a young novice who has been put into the care of a Mephistophelean master.
- The Resurrectors
True-blue Americans Frieda and Tony, looking to exercise their right to a little relaxation, visit a massage parlour run by Enrique and Alexandra, evil foreigners who intend to use them in a plot against God and Country.
- Say Thankyou, Please
In this dadaist riff, harried working-stiff Jimmy learns that he must play host to an unexpected female guest. Jimmy despairs of being able to prepare dinner in time, but much to his surprise, manages, thanks largely to his closet-dwelling puppet Vincent. When the guest doesn't appear it looks as though all of their efforts have been for nought, but divine intervention saves the day.
