紐英崙余風采堂團拜祭祖春宴通告

　

    

( 一 )    謹定於二OO八年二月七日 (星期四) 即農曆 (戊子鼠年)正月初一日正午十二時在本堂舉行宗親團拜, 歡迎參加.

 

( 二 )    謹定於二月十七日 (星期日) 即農曆正月十一日正午十二時在本堂舉行祭祀儀式, 虔拜祖先, 禱祝康泰.

 

( 三 )    謹定於三月八日 (星期六) 即農曆二月初一日下午六時假座帝苑大酒樓舉行春節聯歡暨敬老宴會, 及頒發二OO七年度獎學金, 屆時有幸運抽獎及音樂歌唱助興. 敬希各位男女宗親踴躍參加, 以聯絡宗誼, 共慶新春.

 

附春宴及申領獎學金辦法如下 :

 

( 1 )      餐券每位一律二十元. 六十五歲以上耆英免費, 但須請移玉歩來本堂報名, 領取餐券, 以便編席. 領取餐券前必須已在本堂註册為會員及繳清香油費. 未註册者可在領票現場補辦註册手續, 註册費五元. 耆英餐券必須是本人才有權亨受. 年滿七十歲者另贈紅包及長壽麵.

 

( 2 )      由二月二十四日 (星期日) 開始售券, 售券地點在乞臣街本堂, 售券時間每天由上午九時半至下午四時, 席滿為止, 不能電話留席. 查詢電話 :

( 3 )      凡本族及余姓出嫁女之子女在大學獲得獎學金或平均成績 (GPA) 3.8以上者均可申請本堂獎學金, 申請時必須提供有效的大學奬學金文件或最近一期的成績單. 學生本人及其父或母必須已在本堂註册為會員, 並已繳清香油費, 如未註册者可補辦註册手續, 註册費五元. 獎學金申請時間由一月十三日至二月十日止. 獎學金申請表請來本堂或網路www.yeefungtoy.org  領取.

Announcement for Chinese New Year Activities

January 9, 2008

 

TO ALL YEE FAMILY MEMBERS :

 

( 1 )   Please join us on Thursday, February7, 2008 at 12 noon to celebrate the 1st day of the Chinese New Year at 11 Hudson Street, Boston.

 

( 2 )   The Ancestral Memorial Ceremony will be help on Sunday, February 17, 2008 at 12 noon at the Yee Fung Toy Association, 11 Hudson Street, Boston.

 

( 3 )   The Spring Festival and Seniors Appreciation Banquet will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at 6 o’clock in the evening, at the Empire Garden Restaurant on 690 Washington Street, Boston. Year 2007 scholarships will be awarded, and there will be door prizes, music and dancing.

 

The following are more information on the banquet and scholarship application:

 

( A )   Banquet tickets are $20.00 per person. Seniors age 65 and over are free. Please register in person at the Yee’s Association and obtain banquet tickets for proper seating arrangement. Seniors age 70 and over will receive lucky red envelope money and longevity gift. Seniors must be a registered member. May do so at this time if not already registered. Senior has to pay the Chinese New Year’s contribution to the Association.

 

( B )   Tickets will be on sale starting Sunday, February 24, 2008 at the Yee’s Association, 11 Hudson Street, from 9:30 AM to 4 PM until all available tickets are sold out. They are on the first come first serve basis. Phone inquiry : (617)-338-8179. However, there’s no phone reservation.

 

( C )  All of the Yee’s Family sons and daughters who are awarded college scholarships may apply for the Yee’s Association Scholarships. Applications will only be processed with proof of college scholarship been awarded or have grade point average 3.8 or above. Copy of most recent grades must also be provided. Application will be accepted from January 13, until February 10, 2008. To obtain an application, please come to our Association or go to our Website. www.yeefungtoy.org.

 

         A Yee family student is a college student who has a parent that is from the Yee Family. The parent and applicant must be registered with the Yee Fung Toy Association and also paid the annual Chinese New Year’s contribution to the Association.
