While everyone else assessed themselves, finding themselves in camoflage gear and carrying similar weaponry, they were startled by an Austrian- tilted screeching.

"Wot has hoppened to me??? Heeelp me!"

Running towards them was Arnold Schwartzenegger, but he was crying and flailing his hands around wildly.

"Guys, Guys!' he screeched in his thick accented bass, "It's /me/, Spencer! Wot has hoppened to meeeeeee???"

Spencer through 'himself' to the ground and wailed, having completely lost all hint of control. He sobbed and wailed and wouldn't hear a word about what had happened to her, even when Thomas made the tag. _Predator_, a sci-fi, big-budget action flick ... with a bite. Willie, his senses unnaturally heightened, first noticed the noise, and then the movement up the hill.

"Watch for the heat haze!" called Thomas, just as Willie spotted it, blurring across the trees in a streak. Panicked, he waved everyone to silence, pointing into the brush.

Everyone turned and saw, the vision straight from hell, that of a disguised predator arrowing down on them. Almost without any coordination, all of them opened up their automatic rifles, and fired.

Let's make it simple: they annihilated the a swath of land close to a hundred feet wide, completely emptying the contents of most of their weapons. Silence.

"Where is it?" Nila then hissed, just as Spencer's wail turned into a scream of terror. Everyone whipped around, just in time to see Arnold being dragged by the feet into the brush.

Her voice vanished as the world went white and grainy.
