In the winter of 97/98 we managed to get off the merry-go-round for a few months and cruise our Valiant 37 Esprit, Passe Partout .
We have some pictures from the trip, a chart of some of the areas we covered, and a copy of two logs i wrote while down south.
We sailed from Parker's Boatyard, Buzzards Bay, to St. Georges, Bermuda, to English harbor, Antigua in the fall of 1987. Then starting in Jan, 1998, we cruised the windward and leeward islands shown on the following map.
We went from Falmouth harbor, to Deshaies, Guadeloupe, to Marina de Rivier de Sens, Basse-Terre, then to the Saintes. Then on to an overnight at Dominica, and on to St. Pierre, Martinique. We did the Grenadines, Carriacou, and made it as far as 13 degrees S. Heading back North, we re-did some of the islands, visited St Kitts, PR, The Turks and Caicos, the Bahamas, and on to West Palm beach, Beaufort, NC, through the ICW North and back to Buzzards bay. it was a heck of a trip.
