Subject:  Venture Crew 507 - Scuba outing 5/24-25

Hello Scouters,

I spoke with Gary regarding our trip on the 24th. 

.         Bring your AOW materials

.         Bring your Open Water Certification Card

First we need gear.  Aqua Paradise will rent us gear for the entire weekend
for $65 per person.  HOWEVER, you must get 'fitted' prior to our outing.  He
will not have additional gear with him.  OR you can rent from the quarry.
Haigh is about the same but may discount a scout.

Second, we need to be at the quarry by noon.  This is actually good news for
those of us who like to sleep in.  I was thinking if we met around 9:00am at
the Steeple Run Clubhouse, we could depart about 9:30am and have a leisurely
trip.

Third, we have a cabin (Camp Shaw) reserved so we are not sleeping outdoors
and I believe we also have plumbing.  So you still need to pack your
sleeping bag and a pad (just in case).  I have another trailer reserved, so
space is not an issue.

Forth, we did not have enough participation at the last crew meeting to
assign a Grub Master.  I'll take care of getting dinner for Saturday night
and a simple breakfast on Sunday.  If you have any food allergies, please
let me know.

We will stop on the way home to eat like we did last time.  
This may be our last outing together.

Here is my break down of the costs as I see them:

Equipment Rental - $65.00 - Paid to Aqua Paradise
Tank fills - $30.00 - Three fills at $10 each
Quarry access fee - $40.00 - $20 per day

Cabin Fee - $20.00
Food - $15.00 - Dinner/Breakfast

Best Guess total = $ 170.00
