October 28, 1999 HRMC Open House
On October 28, 1999 about 30 attended an open house presentation and
discussion at the Hattie Weber Museum. The meeting included an opportunity
for visitors to:
- Review the results of the October 27 community workshop
- Discuss character areas identified by the community
- Discuss design review issues

At the open house, participants reviewed the analysis of the character

In addition to reviewing the previous evening's workshop, open house
visitors had a chance to discuss other planning and design issues for the

- How can design guidelines provide for innovation?
- Is there a vision for Davis that goes beyond its current form?
- What will the transition areas between the Downtown Core and residential
neighborhoods look like?
