May 20, 2002 demolition of homes in phase 2 completed water was used to keep local businessman's office free of dust. In this our time of drought conditions facing New Jersey today a precious resource was squander upon the demolition of homes whose citizenry has been long relocated.
Beside the Assumpink Creek and a handful of employees working in junk yard along with passing motorists were the only things exposed to the so called hazard of dust from this demolition. It's ironic that the owner of the business who demanded water be used was for the owner/occupants who once lived there was one of the biggest producers of pollution.
