PHASE 2 in the Year 2000

PHASE 2 in the Year ending 2002

Mulberry Street Association extends to all its hope for a peaceful and healty 2003! Most of our membership are settled in and have enjoyed a second Christmas free from the worries of floods and being in harms way.

Yet we do not understand the delay of dragging this mitigation on, we say on because Phase 3 the businesses that are upon the banks of the Assumpink have yet to be bought out and relocated.

Our guess is that the businessmen have been a tad greedy in their buy out figures and the Federal Government has abandoned Phase 3 all together. Of course this is only speculation upon our part, we are waiting to hear of official word on Phase 3 from our contacts, but no news has been volunteered to date. As soon as we hear of the status of Phase 3 it shall be posted upon this site!
