The above shots show the Assumpink Creek just above flood stage. By this time because of the surrounding underground aquifers and extending water table of Assumpink would had caused minor basement flooding at this stage.
In the bottom row above shows the Nottingham Way bridge, normally the creek is some 10 to 15 feet below the bridge. As you see in these shots the creek is less than 6 inches from the bottom of the bridge.
In the first row the 3rd photo and first photo of 2nd row depict how the center island is cover and the falls which are normally present have all but disappeared.
