Mitigation Property

The Continued Proof Business CAN break the LAW!

bar

The photograph shown above was taken March 14, 2004. What is so unlawful about it?

The foreground shows what was considered phases 1 & 2 of the Mitigation of Mulberry St. What is unlawful is the very fact that vehicles are parked upon Mitigation property as a storage or staging area. It proves that what owner/occupants had to sign to complete their transaction of property to government, the stipulation that "mitigation property would never be used for any residential or commercial endeavors", was totally meaningless.

The 2 Ford pickup trucks had no license plates, according to law they are deemed abandoned vehicles and subjected to impoundment. The Jeep parked on Mulberry Street itself had no front end whatsoever again proof of improper usage of public land.

Yet Scarpatti and the Car Dealership on the corner have no problems of staging vehicles, or allowing workers to park their vehicles on mitigation property instead of where they should be. They have no fear because they know they can pollute and use the land around them without fear of any prosecution.

Trenton Police along with City Council, and the State Police were notified via email and in some cases in-person about this wrongful usage of mitigation property, yet NOTHING was or will be ever done to them. Just as it seems that the businesses are attempting to profit from the mitigation both in relocation of their business and their blatant disregard of using property that does not belong to them. This web site shall continue to provide photographic eveidence of their unlawful acts. With hope that justice could be served upon the very entities who profitted the most from all the flooding events on Mulberry Street.
