In this photograph I am studying Liszt's "Benediction to God in Solitude" in a masterclass with Jorge Bolet during the Liszt Centennial Festival at the Library of Congress. Washington DC, June 1986. He was a wonderful teacher.

Jorge Bolet teaching Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody No 12. He was demonstrating how his teacher, Josef Hofmann, played this piece. I incorporated some of the ideas into my midi sequence.
