I used the GSUM doublet design tool:
Java 1.4.2 version
Java 1.5.0 version
to slide the minimum focus in a 100 mm f/7 air-spaced doublet design until both
the 70% and 100% zones for OSC and LA were reasonably nulled at the center
of the visual band (555 nm).
It was interesting to see the visual correction, as measured by the
photopic Strehl ratio, as it changed across a spectrum of doublets:
