A Word about the President -Born in Taiwan, his early childhood was spent in Japan, attending elementary school in Tokyo. However, during World War II, he participated in the collective evacuation of school children to a remote mountain area in Tohoku, known as "Gakudo-Sokai". After the war, he was brought back to his native land where he grew up. In1966, he was accepted by the prestigious Hitotsubashi University to study under the Monbusho scholarship sponsored by the Japanese government. He completed his studies in 1969 and earned a M.A. in Economics. Soon after , he decided to pursue a career in the United States. His long career included working for large Japanese travel agencies and Shearson Hayden Stone, a securities firm. It was his unique backround and talents that prompted Japanese colleagues to encourage him to start his own company. Mr. Koh's philosophy of providing the best possible service has gained the trust of companies such as Nippon Express Travel, a Japanese travel agent that has selected RKI as their sole land operator in the New York region.
