You need a username and password
New employees will receive an Acceptable Use Agreement (AUA) in their packet from payroll. The 3rd page should be filled out and returned to payroll. The payroll office will fill in your employee number and forward the AUA to the Network Department, located at Waltham High School.
Existing employees can obtain an Acceptable Use Agreement (AUA) from any Library Media Center. After the 3rd page is filled out completely, include your payroll number that is found on your check stub, send it to the Network Department, located at Waltham High School.
Student Acceptable Use Agreements (AUAs) are also available in each Library Media Center. The student and their parent or guardian must sign the AUA. The student's Locally Assigned Identification Number (LASID) must be filled in. School secretaries have the most up-to-date list of LASID numbers, including recently enrolled students. Library Media Centers also have LASIDs for all existing students. Completed forms are sent to the Network Department, located at Waltham High School.
Acceptable Use Agreements (AUAs) are also available on the Waltham Public Schools' webpage.
How will I know what my username and password is?
Once your AUA is processed by the Network Department, a notification will be sent out to the Library Media Specialist, Library Aide and Instructional Technology Specialist affiliated with your building. They will be able to provide you with the logon information. You will be required to change your password the first time that you log into wpsnet.
How can I check to see if a student or employee has previously been assigned a username?
Using the Exchange e-mail program, open the Address Book. Names are listed by First Name, Middle Initial, Last Name. The most reliable way to search for a user is to use the Find function.

The result page for all with last name "Smith" would look like:

If the user's name is listed, then they will need to have their password reset so they can log into WedNet. Contact Library Teachers and/or Instructional Technology Specialists for assistance is resetting passwords.
