You choose “Print” to print a document and nothing comes out of the printer.
Your printer has run out of ink.
WedNet printers vary. Some are deskjet (or inkjet) models and and some are laserjet. If you have a color printer attached to your computer, then you most likely have a color deskjet printer. If you have a black (only) printer attached to your computer, then you have a laserjet. In areas such as labs and libraries computers are mapped to print to a laser printer that is in the same physical area. In all cases, except for Stanley School lab, this printer is a black only printer.

After 2 unsuccessful attempts to print, stop and try the following steps:
Check that the cable connections are secure at both ends (computer CPU port and printer port).
Press the appropriate button of the printer, to makes sure it is “online”. A green light is usually displayed when printer is online. Flashing lights or orange lights may mean it is “off-line” See manual for printer for specific information, pertaining to your model.
Check to see if there is a paper jam.
Shut down and restart using the restart option in the Shutdown Options window (click on the Start button on the TaskBar and then select Shut Down).
If restart is unsuccessful, turn off the computer (CPU) and the printer, wait 2 minutes, then turn printer back on and then computer back on.
