Any taste of India will leave you with a plate full of experiences and amazing tales of discoveries.
Our taste was comparable to sampling hot chili peppers, the flavors do not come subtlety,
you are hit in a big way, with a memorable force.

We traveled during the monsoon season, our favorite time to travel in Asia. The monsoons are a
vital part of life, always received with great expectations. You'll discover that accommodations are
readily available and the clouds keep the temperatures moderate. During this trip, the monsoons
came late and it rained sparingly.

Traveling about by plane, (ten flights) boats, (Kerela backwaters) car rental, (with a driver from Agra to Jaipur)
trains, buses and a rented motorcycle,
the challenges, other than the demanding physical schedule,
were to capture India not as a slide show of one temple and fortress after another, but to slow down
and discover the Indian people and the land.

We believe as the pictures and video show, we have accomplished that goal.

For this taste of India, we traveled from July 17 through August 23, 1998. A total of Thirty-seven days.
