Band Bio

 

Formed in Allentown in late September 2001, the band consists of five strange members who are convinced extra-terrestrials are controlling their brains. Weird but, think of the possibilities. The 5 members are Josh on guitar and backing vocals, Howie on guitar and backing vocals, Sean on multiple bass tasks, Pettit on drums, and Brian on vocals (he is also believed to channel most of the signals from their leaders above.)  

The Hercules galaxy from which Sarinrocks is from is far, far away, and they don't plan on going back without any believers. No gimmicks, No one man show, We  just play real rock n roll.

The members of  the band have been close friends for the last 10 years making them a group of best friends not just musicians.

 

     Brian

Brian began playing bass in the band Sand in the early 90's.  During the late 90's Brian and Pettit played in the very unique funk/rock band Bump.  Brian sang and played guitar in the band.  Brian likes listening to The Beatles and Pink Floyd.  Brian is extremely paranoid, please approach with extreme caution.

     Sean
Born in a pub under a pool table, or so we've been told.  In the early 90's Sean played guitar for the band Grow.  After the band's breakup Sean put down the guitar and began playing bass.  Sean played bass for the band Cornered, which toured with Wolfpac, in the later  90's.  Sean's musical influences are Bella Fleck and Primus.

     Josh
Josh played guitar in the hardcore band Blindside through most of the 90's.   Blindside played shows with various bands including Clutch, Shades Apart and other nationally known bands.  Blindside was a distant change to the straight ahead rock we play now.  Josh listens to Clutch, Quicksand and Pink Floyd.

     Pettit
Pettit has played drums in Grow, Cornered and Bump thus the link between the members.  Pettit incorporates elements of funk and jazz to add a very dynamic element to our sound.  Pettit enjoys 311, Incubus and Clutch.
    Howie
   It's Miller Time...
     Rory
   Rory and the band split in mid 2003 and Rory is now playing with John from Naskar Nazarene / Stillwater / Blindside and Jason from American Ether.  Rory is skilled guitarist who participated in several musical endeavors throughout the 1990's.  Rory has acquired his musical style through a wide range of musical interests.
