Review
We Use Our Hands is the best outing for Shitar
since Long Way Home,
and also one of their most underrated efforts. Again, their are
no superstars here, but loads of talent--much like the 1998 New York
Yankees, though not quite as prolific. Mark Mistysyn is back as
a part-time guitarist and does admirable work. This makes Matt
Gorney's guitar playing somewhat expendable although he still wields
a mean axe. The songwriting happy Matt also plays bass on the
entire album. John contributes some of his strongest work on recent
efforts with I Guess I Like You and the top-40
smash Hide it Away.
