Review
A Moment's Passing is a collection of leftover songs from the Shades
of Grey sessions, with a few new ones tossed in.
Shitar capitalized on the success of Shades and rushed this release
into stores. The sound quality is comparable to the previous album,
but the song selection is notably weaker. The standout is the
first single One Moment's Passing. Also
released were To Love You Now and City
Streets, which was included on the the soundtrack to the
Gorney cousins' short film, Batman: The Dark Knight.
Also of note are the updated, heavier versions of My Baby's
Not at Home -- an attempt to bring the old music to the
new fans -- and Remember the Past -- a riff
later used in John's classic song Bitch.
This album is a must for diehards only.
