Review
As Polish as They Wanna Be is an extremely
spotty album. The addition of guitarist Mark Mistysyn, albeit
in a part time role, gives the band a needed kick in the ass.
Mistysyn co-wrote 3 songs and appears on half the album. There
aren't any classics here, but Waiting For You,
Holding You, and Can't You See
are catchy and fun. The problem with this album seems to be that
Shitar only had enough material for a single album, but proceeded to
do a double. Much of side two is weak with throwaways and fillers. Drum
Solo??? What were you guys thinking?
