Review
Shades of Grey is the first solid effort from Shitar. The band
embarked on a double album this time around, showing growth and stronger
songwriting relative to their previous efforts. Dreaming
was Shitar's first bonafide hit and Paradise Can't Last
Forever a moderate one. Incorporated on this album
was John's penchant for writing epics such as Lost Without
You, Childhood Dreams and Honor
Above All. Surely, a sign of things to come.
The elder Gorney cousin also showed off his pop writing skills on The
Great Amen -- again, a sign of things to come.
