Mark Mistysyn: Guitars, Lead and Backing Vocals

Since officially joining Shitar in 1992, Guitarist Mark Mistysyn has seen his role in the band steadily increase from guest appearances on As Polish as They Wanna Be and We Use Our Hands to full fledge writing credits on all recent studio albums. Mistysyn joined forces with Matt Gorney late in 1990 at the University of Scranton where the two began to collaborate on several projects, including the Scranton-based bands Underground Draft and Irrelevance. It was not long after that Mistysyn began lending his influence to Shitar on his way to establishing himself as the full-time guitar player and contributing song writer and vocalist.
