Shitar Announces Plans for New Box Set

West Lawn, PA. - Rock music mega-stars Shitar have announced plans to release a box set to chronicle their long and storied history. The band has been tight-lipped about the contents of the collections but did say that it is still in the planning stages and could be released as early as January of 2004.

Some unnamed sources have suggested that Shitar is considering a 4 or 5-CD chronological set that includes all original recordings but that the selection process has been arduous. Sources have even suggested that this selection process has significantly delayed the release of the set.

Each Shitar member had brief, but very different comments when reached by reporters...

Bassist and vocalist, Matt Gorney brushed off questions saying that, "New music must have priority."

Guitarist, Mark Mistysyn hinted that the band may need to sharpen its scissors if the box set is ever going to see the light of day.

Keyboardist, Vocalist and extremely efficient guitarist John Gorney deferred all questions to his new publicist... Jasmine who responded with drool and a spit up.
