The ultimate underground psychedelic band. Primitive drug induced freakouts that defined the German psychedelic experience in the early seventies. The short-lived Amon Dull I produced 4 albums:
Psychedelic Underground, Collapsing, Paradieswarts Duul 1970 Disaster 1971 the recordings tended to be a little more raw and acid damaged -acid-folk? whereas the later incarnation Amon Duul II matured a bit and crafted brilliant "space-rock" albums that were substantially more refined. Amon Duul 1 also released -Experimente a 5th Amon Duul album, a collection of outtakes that was originally released posthumously in 1984.
