Nifty Needlework and Crafty Creativity

Stitch-A-Blouse       Now here's a great idea -- clothing with stitchable areas, so you can personalize everything to your heart's content! Amy is gem, and her clothing line will inspire you with so many ideas. Think of the possibilities...shirts for everyone from your sister who loves flowers to your daughter's piano teacher. You can make each a one-of-a-kind gift to celebrate the wearer's personality. Don't forget to order one for yourself, too!

The NeedleWorker       An elegant magazine, filled with gorgeous projects that often take our breath away! Best of all, there is truly something for everyone in each issue. We learn so much from The NeedleWorker...it's one of our favorites.

The Cross Stitcher       You've seen the magazine and now you can visit the website! We enjoy the magazine because Pam Kellogg is often a featured designer. Her work never fails to delight us!

Carlton Designs, Ltd.       Carole Sedgwick has a lovely website to showcase her tremendous talents. It's a wonderful place to visit!

The Crafts Fair Online    Looking for something fun to do on a rainy day? Searching for a neat place with links to all kinds of crafts? Spend some time at The Crafts Fair Online and you'll have a great time! The links are updated frequently, so you'll want to check back on a regular basis.

Crafty Links    "Arts, crafts and more!" they say, and they're absolutely right. We really enjoyed browsing this site... It's got a little something for everyone, which makes it a blast to look through. Drop by, spend some time and have fun!

PK Designs    This is the online home of one very busy person! She designs needlework charts, websites, maintains a very energetic website of her own, and so much more. Makes us want to take a nap just thinking about it all... Definitely worth a look!

Our Awesome Assortment of Fabulous Fun

Cat Faeries        This is our cats' favorite page, for some reason. The catnip comes highly recommended! Moe is especially fond of the hand-made Fortune Cookies, which he ordered in his favorite color -- yellow.

Small Miracles    We're so crazy about herbal, floral and spicy scents...especially when they're part of soaps, bath oils, shower gels and other items created with loving care. This unique shop is in Glendale, California, and the lady who owns the shop is so cool. We wish you could meet her!

Lifesavers Game Page         Chock-full of fun games of all kinds! Warning, this page could make you hungry, though! :-)

Softub         Slip into some hot water and let your stress and cares float away. Our Softub-selling friend claims he's been "Getting America Into Hot Water" for a long time now!

Plant Life    Soaps made from aromatic herbs, featuring some of our favorites...peppermint, lemongrass, anise and more.

Looney Tunes Sound Site      If you like Mel Blanc, you'll love this site! Sounds from our childhood and th-th-that's not all, folks!

Nice To Be Kneaded         If you're ever in Burbank, CA, and your feeling a twinge of "stitcher's shoulder" or "writer's wrist," stop by and feel kneaded. NTBK's licensed massage therapists are often called "miracle workers," especially by us! Few things in life relieve pain and promote such a sense of well-being as does therapeutic massage. It's an experience not to be missed.

Roadside America        A paean to the truly weird stuff scattered around America for your touring pleasure. Hit the road and go straight to "The World's Biggest Ball of Twine" -- do not pass "The Thing," and do get sidetracked by The Corn Palace.

Kissthisguy and other Mondegreens      What's a Mondegreen? Have you ever heard the words to a song wrong? Such as "The girl with colitis goes by" instead of "The girl with kaleidoscope eyes" (from "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds")? That's a mondegreen!

Wexford & Woods    Exquisite aromatherapy oils, soaps, bath salts, bath gels...ahhhhhhhh..... It's just a few steps from a spa, too. Imagine that!

Trefethen Vineyards     How could we resist a winery with its very own dragon? These folks have a sense of humor and know how to squeeze the very best from every grape they meet. We had a great time when we visited with them!

Antique Tours        Ahhhhhhhh, now that's livin'! A '47 Packard convertible, top down, wind through your hair as you tour the wineries of Napa Valley. We'd go back in a New York minute! But next time, we'll spend the day in "that car"!

Godiva Chocolatier    You know you want to. You feel the power of chocolate and you cannot resist.

The Magic Castle    Self-proclaimed clubhouse for The Academy of Magical Arts, this breathtaking Victorian is in fact an exclusive club for professional magicians worldwide. If a member magician invites you as their guest, you'll be treated to parlor magic, stage illusions, refreshing beverages, gourmet delights and a house that has a personality all its own. If you go, don't forget to say hello to Invisible Irma.

See's Candies    We have a saying here. "See's Chocolates, eats chocolates!" And we'll bet you will, too.

Jelly Belly Home Page    Jelly beans aren't anything like we remember from childhood...they're so much better. We're crazy about Jelly Belly beans, because of the incredible variety of flavors (and those funky colors).

Recipe Archive Index      Carolyn's DH (PeterRabbit) is a fabulous cook! He finds new and interesting recipes via this easy to use index. Search for yourself... You might even find something new for dinner.

Mind Over Magic    A delightfully intriguing Burbank shop that we couldn't resist. This lovely little place is owned by magician T.C. Tahoe and his wife Lesley. Her half of the shop is a treasure trove devoted to astrology and other interests, while his half of the shop is a parlor magician's paradise. It blends, it works...and it's very cool.

Ritchart Soaps & Oils    We're so crazy for hand-made soaps and bath oils, and this company does both so well. We've also found Australian eucalyptus oil, delightful herbal pillows, and all kinds of neat stuff. They also sell an especially nice tea.

Weird Al Yankovic    This guy defies description...but we love him anyway! He's the contemporary master of song parodies, and he writes some original material that'll leave you laughing in the aisles. We've seen him in concert at The House of Blues, and we'd love to catch his show again sometime.

Ripley's Believe it or Not!    This is the home of the odd, strange and downright unusual. Robert Ripley loved the offbeat and peculiar, and we're intrigued by it, too. Worth a look -- or two.

Erika & Rozane's Emergency! Web Site    Back in the days before Carolyn became a Registered Nurse and Tisha was an Emergency Medical Technician, there was a show called, "Emergency!"  If you know what KMG365 means (or even if you don't), ride with Squad 51's Roy DeSoto and Johnny Gage via this stellar tribute site.

Dr. Science    "He knows more than you do! He has a degree...in science!" We discovered Dr. Science ages ago, thanks to his daily radio Q&A on National Public Radio. His twisted sense of chemistry won't help you with your homework, but it will leave you laughing.

The Exploding Whale     Oh, you have no idea! Take one much deceased and well aged whale, add imperfectly packed sand, an error in dynamite calculation...and bystanders. Lots and lots of bystanders. Combine with local TV crews and mix well. It's a recipe for chaos, mayhem and laughs like you wouldn't believe!

George Gobel and the Exploding Grill      Speaking of cooking, we know of a fellow who can cook a hamburger exceptionally well done in mere nanoseconds. Propane? Charcoal? Lighter fluid? Uhhhh...no, not exactly. Hint: Bring your sunglasses!

Blue Mountain Arts     A fine way to brighten someone's day, this free greeting card site is still the best. Like any other card shop, you'll browse for hours...but at least it won't dent your bank account.

We'd also like to ask that you please take a moment to help find a missing child. It  only takes an instant to discover you recognize one of these children. You can make a difference, helping to reunite them with their family. This program has proven successful and we ask you to share in its support, by being aware of these missing kids. Thank you.

We'll be trying to add and update this page frequently, as we come across other goodies on the Web. If you have a link you're really fond of, drop us a line and we'll check it out. If we include it here, we'll even give you credit. Your name could be up in lights, right here! (OK, perhaps not exactly in real honest-to-gosh lights, but you'll be listed for all to see.)
