I spent the month of November 2004 hunched over my keyboard writing a novel of
50,000 words. Why? Well, I was dared by a friend to "compete" in NaNoWriMo,
having sent the link to a group of friends last year. The friend who sent the
reminder failed, but I and another friend suceeded this year. Is it a good novel?
Well, no, but still, I wrote 50,00 (actually 52,000) words in the 30 days of
November, and "won" NaNoWriMo. What did YOU do during November? Check out my
profile at the link given, or bookmark NaNoWriMo
so you can write your own novel next year!

Geez, you'd think I'd learn, but I did it again. Once again a friend says she's
going for it, and we're all pussies if we don't too; I'm the only one to take her
up on her challenge, and the only one to succeed this time. It was an exhausting
November, as I stayed up regularly past my bedtime, but it paid off. Not in
quality, exactly, but with accomplishment.

I am a member of Cyberpunks Entertainment, who released Stella Gets A New Brain and
more recently Version 2.0, as well as Stella At 20, a videotape documentary of the
old Atari programmers.

I took over editing the 2600 Connection newsletter from Tim Duarte after issue 50,
but he still maintains the web page.

I also edit a zine called Slap-Dash, but not very regularly at all, and there's no
web page dedicated to it yet. The are some writing samples at the
On File site (or the old On File site).

I am on staff at Digital Press, though I don't write as much as other staffers.

I am a member of the band Dethkorpz, whose six albums are available on CDR. We are
happy to accept orders for the albums (or the related Lord Bryon album), just contact
us via my email address or the band web page. The band is on hiatus again due to a
member moving back to scenic Madison WI.

Hey! I've got some electronic games for trade (maybe sale), perhaps a couple
other things.

In case you're curious about my videogame collection, here's what I have and want.
Note: except for the first three links, these lists were made via a test of a
piece of software that does HTML conversions; the results are pretty crappy
due to the assumptions the conversion made, but for now this is all I have
and how it shall remain. Also, I don't guarantee that these lists are up to
date (the first two lists are kept up to date, but the next one is from 3/16/2000 and
the rest from 12/14/99).
