2, 1875. I would like to connect him to the family of Philip
Coons and his wife Ruamy Washburn of Columbia and Dutchess
County, NY. Perhaps brother and sister or cousins. Common surnames which
surround them both include Miller, Hoysradt, Van Valkenburgh. Searching
for the parents of Ruamy Washburn (or Ruama Washburn) and also this
Calvin Washburn. Ruamy names one of her sons Calvin Coons.
Calvin Washburn names one of his sons Martin Washburn.
And there is a Calvin Coons named in the Will
of Calvin Washburn. If anyone has any information on this Washburn

to Maria Smith of Columbia Co., NY. Daughter of Jonas Smith
and Hannah Blakeman. They had Jonas, Frank, Douglas and William.
Possible that this is same Jonas Washburn who became a notable dairy
farmer in Colorado. Nicholas is Buried Forest Hill Cemetery, Lackawanna
Co., PA.

1690/91 in Concord, MA. Died Feb 29, 1780 in Lancaster, MA. Son of Obadiah
Wheeler and Elizabeth White, Mayflower Descendant. Husband of
Abigail Butterfield. Father of Rev. Joseph Wheeler who married
Mary Greenleaf.

uniform. Born near Glasgow, Scotland 1840. Died in NY 1921. He worked at
St. Luke's Hospital in NY as a curator. He was a Civil War Soldier. He
served for the Fifth New York Volunteer Infantry known as Duryee's
Zouaves. He was wounded at the Second Battle of Bull Run, which he
would later refer to as the "Vortex of Hell" in a speech written
for Gettysburg. He was a founding member of the Fifth New York Veterans
Association. I learned alot about him from the 5th NY historian and recreator
