Here are some of the descendants of Zachariah Tarball, one of those Chiefs, sent to me by Elinor Skeate who researches these Groton Massachusetts founding families and produces the "Groton Newsletter". She has even written books on the Tarballs. Her website url is included here at the bottom of the chart.

 

A DESCENT FROM ZACHARIAH 4 TARBELL, b. Jan. 25, 1700, Groton, MA, son of
THOMAS 3, 2, 1 Tarbell and his wife, ELIZABETH WOODS, dau. of Samuel Woods.
He was one of the children taken to Canada: Many of his descendents lived
still in the area of St. Regis. He married a daughter of CHIEF ATAUENTA,
Mohawk chief on the St. Lawrence River of Canada and the Caughnawaga
Reservation near Montreal, Canada. They were parents of 

PETER 5 (KARIKOHE, his Indian name) TARBELL, founder of St. Regis, Ontario,

PETER 6 (SATEKAIENTA, his Indian name, meaning "Beating in Rhythm") TARBELL,

THOMAS 7 (TIRONATAKWINTE, his Indian name, meaning "Clouds Spreading Out")

	(KANIESON, her Indian name) and had a son: (3624)
PHILIP 8 (TARAKEHTE, his Indian name, meaning "Hat Brim, protects the neck")
TARBELL, b. 1849, who married NANCY 
	(KWARSENNI, her Indian name, "something to do with Prayer beads") PAPINEAU
and had a son: (3625)
JOHN 9 (KARENKRENINTE, his Indian name) TARBELL, b. 1880, d. 1939,  who
married MARGARET JACOBS (3626)

FRANK J. 9 (TAKIRHITON, his Indian name) TARBELL, who married AGNES
(KONWASENNAWI, her Indian name) PORK, b. July 
	9, 1886, d. Feb. 16, 1962. They adopted a son: (3627)
ALBERT A. 10 (ASHINNHARE, his Indian name, meaning "something to do with
leather straps") TARBELL,  b. Aug. 23, 1923, who 
	married CECELIA (KANATISAKE, her Indian name, meaning "She is going or
looking for a village") PAPINEAU, b. Jan. 16, 
	1924, d. June 12, 1988. They had these children: (3628)

	ALBERT MITCHELL 13 (WARARE, his Indian name, meaning "He is waiting")

	TAMA LYNN (KAIENTISON, her Indian name, meaning "something to do with  wood
gathering") TARBELL, b. Nov. 6, 1950 (3632)
	JOSEPH LESLIE (TOREHTANE, his Indian name, meaning "He keeps coming
forward") TARBELL, b. Feb. 22, 1957 (3633)
	ADRIA TERESA (KONWANENTAWI, her Indian name, meaning "Reciever of Palms")

AGATHA 10  (KATSITSIARONNION, her Indian name) TARBELL, sister of Frank, d.
Nov. 9, 1902, She M. ANGUS 
	(THAIERONHIOTE) COOK, 1 dau. He married again and had other children. By
Agatha:
	MARY COOK, b. Nov. 1, 1902, d. Sept. 1953, raised by the Tarbell family.
