GO MDA Information
There is a bulletin board and library of information on-line on CompuServe. These are referred to as "GO MDA". CompuServe is a commercial network, and is therefore not available here. - 1993 - Announcement of Dr. Kenneth Fischbeck's (University of Pennsylvania) identification of the gene on the X chromosome. The gene on the X chromosome, is for a protein found in myelin, the insulating sheath that surrounds nerves.
