Time Line of Life

Time Line of Life

James Rettie proposed a time line of biological evolution (Coronet, v29, p21, 1951). The timeline encompassed 757 million years, but was set up like a calendar. This calendar played like a movie. Each year of our time was captured as a video image. If all 757 million years were run at 24 images every second, as a typical movie would run, you would see a year long movie representing the biologic evolution of life on our planet, earth.
