A Family Retreat on Narragansett Bay

Riven Rock was built in 1912. Since the 1950's it has been a cherished family gathering place and retreat for five generations. The all-wood construction and simple furnishings of this classic summer home complement the beautiful and relaxing setting. At Riven Rock the pace of life is set much more by the movement of sun, wind and tide than by the time on clocks.

Riven Rock's upper level contains three master bedrooms, two other large bedrooms and three smaller ones. The first floor includes a spacious family room with a large stone fireplace, a large dining room with fireplace, a game room, kitchen and laundry areas. A porch wraps around three sides of the house, providing comfortable outdoor seating and weather-protected play areas.
 

The porch and rear-facing rooms offer fabulous views of Narragansett Bay.


Sunsets at Riven Rock are unforgetable !

Riven Rock is available for rent by the public for portions of each summer. Extended families and groups of friends have found it to be ideal for getaways and reunions. Despite its splendid sense of isolation, all of the necessities and amenities of life are available nearby.
