Welcome to the Thursday Night Movie Club. This site contains
movie reviews from Larry Novotny (left) and "Chicago Jake".
Jake and I started the TNMC on March 3, 1988 because no one else we knew wanted to go to see The Serpent and the Rainbow, starring Bill Pullman. One thing lead to another and we have been doing this ever since. Usually followed by martinis and cigars to discuss that night's movie at our favorite "watering hole", Carmine's on Rush Street, Chicago, IL. I have finally created a site that I like, regarding layout, graphics, etc. I am trying to write one review per night so hopefully, I can get this site up to date soon. Keep checking back for new movie listings. I'll try to let you know which ones are the newest reviews. Repeat visitors will note that the graphics have been updated and the site simplified. Currently, only the TNMC Home and the Movie List links are fully functional.
