Hamlet accepts his punishment willingly.

When told that he is going to be sent to England, Hamlet's only response is "good" (line 50). Why is he so willing to leave? He is supposed to kill Claudius, for revenge. He now is assured of Claudius' guilt. Why is he so passive in accepting his fate?

The answer may lie in Hamlet's "depression." Perhaps he has resigned himself to a life where he is only manipulated, like a pawn. Or, perhaps he is cunning enough to go along with these orders because he has some "plan."

Of course, it may be that he simply likes the weather over there.
