The Shakespeare Page

is coming back.

The “summaries” are returning, after an extended absence. Please be patient, as they are returning in a new format -- side by side with the text. The name has now changed three times, due to IDG Books' ridiculous trademarks (I had the name first), their pursuit of litigation, and their obnoxious, paranoid lawyers. Boycott them, if you can. While this project is going on, some portions may be only “partially done.” Keep checking back. Romeo and Juliet and Hamlet are complete; the others are partially done.

Update:

NOTE: This page is obviously undergoing a major revision, so you will have to be patient. To date, I have completed formatting for all of Romeo and Juliet and Hamlet. The rest of the summaries are written, but the new "side-by side" format takes time. There may still be a few links which are “broken,” and some formatting things which I am repairing. I beg your patience, and apologize in advance for any inconvenience. Also, this page looks best at 800 X 600. It has been checked for both Netscape 3.x (and up) and Microsoft Internet Explorer. Feel free to let me know of any problems. Any comments are welcome. And, yes, I am actively seeking representation for this, and the remaining work.  But, certainly not from IDG Books.
