The 9:30 AM Sunday Service at St. Marks celebrates the Holy Eucharist—Rite II. This service offers a traditional Episcopal worship which includes:
St. Mark's uses The Book of Common Prayer of the Episcopal Church. The page numbers of prayers used in the service are abbreviated as BCP, p. (page #) in the program. Several copies of the Book of Common Prayer are found in each pew.
Everyone who comes to St. Mark's is welcome to fully participate in the worship service. To receive communion, stand or kneel at the altar rail and open your hands for the bread. Guide the chalice by placing your hand at the base, or gently dip your bread into the chalice to receive the wine. If you would prefer a blessing instead, please cross your hands over your heart.
The Sunday School is held dowstairs after the 9:30 AM service. It offers Christian education for all children from preschool through high school.
Coffee and refreshments are served in the undercroft following the 9:30 AM service. Please join us!
