St. Patrick School
Parent Teacher Organization

St. Patrick School is proud to have an active, involved PTO Board that fills the needs of parents and teachers. PTO-sponsored events provide financial support to school programs, events, activities and classroom items that would otherwise not be funded.  PTO also works diligently to provide informative in-service programs to parents and to serve as a vehicle for better communication between the school and parents.

See the school’s monthly newsletter for recent PTO news . . .

The St. Patrick PTO provides in-services for parents. Business meetings are held once a month with just the officers present. General meetings for all St. Patrick School parents are held on the Third Wednesday of each month at 7pm.  As a community service, our meetings are open to the public.  Free babysitting is provided in the library.

PTO has a budget in excess of $6000 each year.  PTO sponsored fundraisers are used to generate funds that directly benefit the students of St. Patrick School.  Money is also given to each classroom teacher to purchase supplies for their room.  Field Days and other events are also funded by money generated from these fundraisers.

To support that mission there are 4 fundraisers that take place throughout the school year.  In June, the PTO asks families to sell Pot o' Gold cards (coupon cards worth hundreds of dollars in free goods and services good for one year -- June to June).  In November, holiday raffle tickets go on sale, with drawings beginning Jan. 1 for a chance to win cash and prizes during the entire month of January.  In December, a Kids Go Shopping event is held on campus.  In addition to these special events, PTO also sponsors two Scholastic Bookfairs, during the Fall and Spring.
